A musician herself, Marie also has over 30 years’ experience in the music industry as a former music journalist, artist manager, booking agent and promoter. She currently runs live music booking agency, Mingle Music. Marie is also a qualified English teacher, which helps greatly when it comes to writing artist biographies, website content and press releases. She has co-managed a recording studio and rehearsal rooms, as well as leading and managing countless music-making projects for young people and organising several small festivals and music industry events over the past 15 years.
Maz is an extremely talented songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. At the age of just 14, she released her debut album of original songs, and three singles from the album were played frequently on BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2. Her music has also been used for high-profile advertising campaigns, both in the UK and in Brazil. Maz formed the gypsy folk band, Carnivala! in 2013, and since 2015 she has been working with gyp hop ensemble, Trotfox. Maz also has substantial experience of organising live music events, and has worked at Mingle Music as a booking agent.
Paul is a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing bass and guitar for well-respected bands in the South West for over 30 years – including The Garbage Grinders, Jackdaw Music, The Waxroom, John Matthias band and Triffles, to name a few. He is also an excellent, highly experienced sound engineer (both recording and live) and a talented web developer and designer with 16 years’ experience. Paul designs and creates amazing code that does fairly astounding things, and he has created hundreds of websites for clients all over the UK. He has worked as Head Web Developer at multi-media design agency, Gomango since the year 2000.
